Position Overview:
We’re seeking a dynamic Sales Director to lead the North American sales team, driving growth by delivering innovative flavor solutions to food, beverage, and nutrition customers. This strategic leader will oversee team performance and report directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Manage Sales Team: Recruit, train, and coach the sales team to exceed targets and drive a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
- Drive New Business: Identify and pursue new opportunities through strategic outreach and market expansion efforts.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted partner to key clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Align sales strategies with business goals, leveraging market trends and insights to drive growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D to deliver customized client solutions and support innovation efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- 5–10 years of experience leading sales teams within the B2B ingredient or flavor industry
- Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing sales teams; must be a hands-on, strategic sales leader
- U.S.-based with the ability to work remotely from a home office
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
Salary Range: $200,000 – $275,000 + bonus, car program, and company benefits. *This compensation range reflects the company’s expectations for this position at the time of posting. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, alignment with role responsibilities, education, demonstrated skills, and performance during the interview process.
